Thanks They seem to ride very nice, time will tell, I haven't driven enough since they have been installed to give detailed review. They are way more responsive than the stock setup and very quiet too. Here's a shot from the other side. I'm thinking lowering it 1.5" or slightly more would really set it off.

Craig's List Lexus IS250 Wheels .
Tires are Nitto Motivo
Front 225/45/18. (Diameter 25.97")
Rear 255/40/18 (Diameter 26.03")
But for the next set of tires, I may go with :
Front 225/50/18 (26.86" diameter, 8.86" wide)
Rear 255/45/18 (27.04" diameter, 10.04" wide)
If I'm not mistaken, Lexus fitted these cars with a 26.63"- 26.68" diameter tire originally.
I really wanted to find a set of LS430 "five spoke" wheels instead of these. But these were cheap and the looks are growing on me.

Is that the stock ride height with those wheels? Did you ever get to lowing it? My 90 LS is original and rear suspension is shot (77k mile) when under load. Bounce's like a old Towncar and cant find a suitable OEM type Lexus Factory assembly. I think im going to do coil-overs, which has me dreaming about asstictics. I saw a UCF10 on BCpage that i love but the wheel size and lack of rubber makes it impractical to me. I really like this look you have accomplished with maybe 1/2 to an 1" lower.

The suspension on mine is bone stock and still rides wonderful, I thought about going with Tanabes and new struts but I'm leaning towards BC coil overs for the adjustability they provide in each corner. I called them a few months ago and for the 1rst Gen coil overs they sell at their highest setting the car would be around 1.5" lower which is right where I was thinking. This car has always been stored in the winter months and is already in storage so i won't be doing anything until late spring. I have a pretty loud whining noise coming from the passenger side under the hood, thinking its a alternator that I will be looking at first thing in the spring..

This is just my opinion on car modifying and personalizing but,
- first you have the car itself (platform)
- then you have the wheels.
Everything else is just accessory to your chassis and wheel choice. Those top two items make it or break it.

Pete: I agree. Something about the old wheels I too still like. Nostalgia maybe? My LS is my year long daily. I have a few older cars to choose from, I just enjoy driving her the most for my entire 25 mile round trip. I've decided to pull the trigger on the BC Coilover BR w/ Swift springs, extenders & socks (maybe im a sucker but i will be using it all winter). Having the coil-overs will probably get me doing some serious soul searching for new shoes when my current rubber wears thin. Judging from how crappy the condition of the front rim is w/ the Golden "L" this pic was just after putting on her winter rims and snow shoes.
