That's rad! Was it originally a white/silver two-tone? Either way I like how you left the lower grill in the front bumper accented, looks like the original silver.
Are your corner lights removed in an attempt to get rid of the pesky amber blinker covers inside? I recently did that job on my 99, not as easy as most other cars.

A bit green here, so excuse the 'common-knowledge' questions. Got this baby imported from Japan (more on that a separate introductory post), and also in Japan I found a good deal on the SC430 wheels you see attached to the car.
The auctioneers in Japan had to use two spacers on each of the front wheels to clear the callipers (not sure which length), but from what I see there is very little thread for bolts to hold on to. The steering wheel vibrates at 90kms (only), and I initially thought the wheels needed balancing as there’s no guarantee they were balanced when they were slapped on.
My local shop has declared these wheels completely unsafe for road use because of the lug situation and out of fear of one of them snapping while I’m driving. I’m bringing the car to a different shop that specializes in wheels to get hub-centric spacers with longer lugs AND to balance the wheels, both of which I’m hoping fix the problem. Currently I am not exceeding 80km/h until the car is looked at.
My concerns are:
I’ve seen many UCF20s with these 430 wheels, perhaps some of you have this setup too. What kind of precautions should I take to have this going? If these wheels are that incompatible with the cars, how are there so many in the wild? Any of you with a 20 running spacers on the ear wheels?
aight ive been through about 100 pages of this thread and i cant get a good idea of the setup im looking for: i have a 98 ls400 bone stock. i wanna drop it an inch maybe up to 2 inches but i want to maintain as much of the awesome ride as possible. not looking to do any crazy tracking(yet at least) but would always like to improve handling where i can. plus i live by the dragon and would like to cruise it up there every once and a while . not looking to do any insane camber or anything, going for function over form. im interested in coil overs, dont really have the money for bags. ive been looking into BC and megan coil overs. they are a little pricey but if they are the best comfort and performance for the money im not against dishing out a few extra bucks. are there any other good kits i should look into? also as far as megan and BC goes, whats the best kits for comfort street/weekend warrior builds? will also mention that i daily the beast hence why im looking to keep it comfortable. note:i drove an s2000 before this car so im no new comer to stiffer suspensions.

First post. Got my friends at AUTOCouture fitting the fronts now that I had fuca's arrive. Wheels are Rotiform ROC's, no center caps cause I lost one and want them all first lol

I'm looking through this thread but still can't figure it out. Because half of the time looking at number - offset, spacers etc., fittement seems mild, but then you look at pictures and the rim is poking outside the fender. But then on the next page I see someone running even bigger wheels with more agrresive offset and he is tucking them behind the fender. And Im like ???
I would like to run 19x9.5 et35 all around with realitvley meaty tire of 235/40. Im planing to drop the front atleast 40mm and the rear 30mm, (most likley i will end up with 50mm and 40mm) And maybe put 15mm spacers on the rear, as long as I dont have to touch rear fender lip too much as it quite finicky.
Will this setup work? I assume that I would have roll the lip in the front if I wanted no rub anywhere in the wheel travel. But Rear should be ok? Or I would I have to atleast half roll the lip?
As plan B, I'm looking at staggered setup, 19x8.5 et35 235/40 and 19x9.5 et35 245/40
Previous setup (bought with these): 17x7,5 ET38 235/50 Michelin summer tires.
In my opionion they are ugly, offset also isn't nice.
Exsiting setup:
Audi A8 Monoblock wheels with adapters to 5x112. 18 x 7,5 235/45 Winter Sunfull tires.
Front: ET40 - 20mm spacer = ET20
Rear: ET40 - 25mm spacer = ET15
Front is rubbing sometimes on big deep holes. I think it's inner fenders holders, will try to cut them off.
Rear fits perfectly, when car full lowered and wheel goes inside - it's about 1-2mm from fender, nothing rubbing.
Rims looks more like 8 inch wide, not 7,5".

ESR 18x9.5 rear with cooper 255/40/18
18x8.5 front with cooper 235/40/18
drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads all the way around.
Lowered with truhart Coilovers.
