I ruined my rear fenders when rolling, need to do some fixing
Also need to put some spacers into front, and buying proper air system when i have enough money
Does anyone else have this problem with stock air suspension with DataSystem controller that rear bags doesn't go low as they should? Is it a sensor problem or do you know how to fix it? The car tilts forward sometimes, i don't like the way it looks at all. Thanks
Thanks. Actually, it is not difficult to find some very fine rims and set-ups.
But very few combinations genuinely agree with the (spirit of) good ol' 400. From my point of view, many are .... over the top. - Yes, personal taste, I know. But my car shall age in grace, not like a street hooker with too much lipstick.
Before I went same-size for those 16", I played around with some 18" (on a similar car), but in the end, none of them convinced me:
Besides, getting a whiff from that Emperor's bespoke means of transport feels kinda .... elevating.

Man, it's pretty difficult finding a wheel when you only know what it looks like. After much research, I got a set of Lexus/Enkei G-Spiders on my 99:
I was mainly looking for a set of wheels that would allow me to run a decent set of tires for autocross/track use, so I still have the chromed stocks for all the days in between. They're currently equipped with a set of Maxxis Victra VR1s in 245/40R18 all the way around. I would have gone with a 45 ratio tire if Maxxis offered them; this was the closest they had to the original diameter. Did some driving today and I have yet to run into any rubbing, I was curious about this since I'm not running any spacers.
In my research, I found that there are apparently two widths for these wheels, and 8" for the front and an 8.5" for the rear. However, I pulled these off of a junkyard GS350 (in about the condition you'd expect) and, after measuring, all 4 are the 8" wide rims. I'm assuming these were installed by a dealer who wasn't aware these were supposed to be a staggered set.
Hey everyone,
I recently picked up a 1993 LS400 and I’m looking to upgrade the wheels and suspension setup. The car is already on coilovers, but I need to replace some of the control arms and lateral links with adjustable versions. If anyone has recommendations for quality adjustable suspension components, I’d really appreciate it.
I’m also planning to run 18x9 wheels, but I’m still figuring out what offset will fit best and look good with my setup. Any advice or examples of what works well on this chassis would be awesome.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Also I only know about the suspension stuff because when I went in for an alignment the guy said that he couldn't do it without that stuff.
