Not bad. Mine started showing at 15k.

I corner and brake very aggressively though. I put the IS to work. So I make the suspension squiggle and wiggle under high turning and braking loads (many times simultaneously) which can cause the wear. It's worth it due to how fun it is.

If you're a gentle cruiser, you could go long.

I take exit ramps pretty fast and acceleration pretty hard as well but again I am more highway than stop and go traffic. When I get together with my Lexus group then its aggressive driving (hitting redline at 7200 and taking hard corners ) my BF Goodrich tires held up pretty well.

Are you on summer tires or all seasons? Cause the summer tires here in socal heat put a lot more stress on stuff. especially with stock F sport pads which are professional high friction german compound

i also wear front pads at around 11-12k

Look for signs of a "stripe" appearing on the very inner edge. Usually occurs around 10-15k, and maybe 20k if you drive very conservatively.
I had the exact same problem.

Say FOR EXAMPLE that you just got a (almost perfect) 4 wheel alignment, OR, your wheels are pretty much (almost perfectly) aligned, then this issue is mitigated correct?

No, you need stiffer LCA Bushings to mitigate the dynamic toe from braking and cornering. Otherwise, you pretty much will keep getting inner tire wear.

Flash, can you talk a little more about this? My tires are at around 7K, but expect to eventually show this wear.

To be clear, "dynamic toe" refers to the front suspension "pigeon-toeing" inwards and outwards under certain conditions, or just one direction? All or primarily due to looseness in the LCA bushings?

Its due the softness of the bushing. Lexus designed the LCA bushings with comfort in mind.

Are there specific bushings that are recommended for our car?

Lexus will only recommend the exact bushings that are in there.
The RCF/GSF are a direct replacement for the IS ones.

Or you can go Poly like RR Racing or Figs but those are extremely stiff and require lubing here and there. You’ll also increase noise, vibration, and harshness. These however will completely rectify the inner tire wear. I went with the RCF/GSF they seem like a good in between.

Yes, but was asking more about the actual mechanics of the toe -- in, out, or both.

Check out this thread: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...bushing-4.html

I believe RR Racing explained mechanics of it there.
