How did u get yours?? Also what year is your car?

 

Forreals...how did you get yours? I am a 350 owner and never received one. I had all the recalls done too?! that blows!

 

Call lexus!! They will tell you if you will receive one or not, between haz mine since june.. 90.00 left on it. Lol

 

To clarify (since nobody reads the thread where it's already explained over and over)

The card is for 350 owners who:

Had the valve spring recall
AND
already own an extended warranty (because otherwise you get your powertrain warranty extended by 30k miles instead)

Exception: in Florida apparently they can't do the extension of warranty for some weird legal reason so any 350 spring recall owners in FL get the $500 card automatically)

Exception: One or two folks who has especially bad experiences with the recall (ie the dealer screwed up the repair or something) might have also gotten the card regardless of the warranty status

There'd been one or two folks who claimed they were getting one who didn't fit the above, but didn't provide much other detail so the claims are dubious.

 

I called to Lexus general customer services today and spoke with the rep name Brain? mention him about have not receive the $1500 certificate or $500 gift card. After spoke with him and he tell that he check the record of my car information and he will call me back in ten mins, sure did after ten mins he called me back and said that I qualify for $ 1500 certificate toward the new or used Lexus purchase and also I would receive $1500 in gift card and also I will receive one year extended warranty He said there is someone would email me regarding the $1500 certificate, $1500 gift card and one year extended warranty within three days? is it too good to true? I hope it is happen to be true

 

I hope this is true! But when i called customer service i was redirected to VSA who handles all the gift cards/recalls.

 

just a reminder that prepaid 500 dollar cards expire january 2012... still got $250 left that I need to spend :X

 

Hate to revive an old thread, but..... I have the $500 Lexus card for the valve spring recall and it expires in a couple months. Haven't used it yet and need to soon. Anyone know of a Lexus/Toyota dealer that will accept the card, but also offers performance parts? I know that L-Tuned Parts takes it, but I am looking for mid pipes and they only offer axle back and cat back systems. I would like to use the card for the mid pipe purchase but haven't had any luck. I checked Carson Toyota tonight but they offer less than L-Tuned. Any help would be great. Worst case scenario, I will blow the card at Sewell (I have a long list of stuff to get from them anyway), but to get the mid pipes for "free" would be sweet!
