I called 800-255-3987 and that's what they told me. I asked about a friend of mine as well without giving him the name or vin # or anything and he said EVERYONE that has an IS350 that is eligible for the valve spring recall gets the gift card. If you recently bought your car, I'd contact them and make sure your name and # is in their files.
If anyone hears something different please post up but I was told everyone was going to receive them. I got the free extended warranty as well and only called just to see what the deal was. I'll edit my first post if anyone gets more info but for now I'm assuming we'll all receive it because that it what I was told.

Hearing so many different stories here so that can't be good. I'll call as soon as I leave work and report back to you guys on what they tell me. I have on 08 that is still under basic warranty and have had the valve spring work done already.

I just got off the phone with them. They said since i didn't have the extended warranty, that they would just give me that instead of the Gift Card. O well better than nothing. Even though im already at 80,000.

Damn I called lexus to make sure if the 2009 models were elegible and the service representative said "only the 2006 models are elegible?" Does anyone else have a 2009 model who receieved or will recieve the GC? If so, what did you tell them? I know its for valve spring recall but had a pedal recall recently, not to mention that the pedal issue caused me to swirve and hit the pavement.

I just called and they did confirm that you have to have been listed as the registered owner of the vehicle in August 2010. I bought my car about 3 weeks ago so I'm out of luck.
They did say that if eligible, you'll receive the extended powertrain warranty, but if you already have a VSA that covers that, then you'll receive the $500 GC.
