Door Panel Disassemble/Rattle
06 GS430 with Mark Levison suffers from most annoying rattle/clicking noise when music volume is on high, especially on front passenger side door panel. I took it to service under warranty, but they couldnt fix it.
Does anyone know how to take the front passenger side door panel off?
Thanks!!

The fix is sticking in some insulation between the wood on the door panel and the panel, if you press hard on the wood panel, it should make it stop. I thought it was the speaker or something down by the speaker and finally figured it was the wood touching the door panel, removal of panel is easy...there is a thread on this a while back

Hi all,
Reviving this thread. Getting the door panel rattle that seems to be coming from underneath the wood. Can't find any threads that talk about just removing the wood - can anyone provide some guidance?
Thanks!

Cars are all put together by plastic clips 99 times out of 100 removing something just involves putting a wedge underneath and prying it up.

Thanks twylie! I found that thread as well - but that shows removing the entire door. Is there a way to just remove the wooden panels on the door?
BinaryJay - that's what I figured as well. But don't want to break anything if that's not the case. Can anyone confirm that you simply need to pry the wooden piece out?
Thanks!

I would look from the other side of the door panel, seeing if there's any clips....
You never know, there might be a screw holding it down just like the tweeters on the door.
