Default Steering column lights

My steering column lights are very dim. How do i make them brighter?

turn up the brightness on the control panel on the left in the box..... It makes everything else brighter also FWIW.

If it doesn't help, try to clean up buttons at steering column

I tried turning control panel light switch to the MAX, but steering column lights still dim. I will try to clean them this weekend. Thanks

Mine are really dim too...tried putting everything to max but steering lights still stay dim

Tried the cleaning routine...but still very dim

They're not suppose to be as bright as your instrument cluster, they just brighten up a LITTLE bit....

Don't expect too much, as too bright will distract the driver and possibly cause accidents. (which I'm sure is why it's not that bright to begin with, sorry )

You can do the LED mods like this guy:

It's a bit more involved than you think though, so heed caution.
