Default About removing that door panel...

Is the burlwood piece just below the window a part of the panel or is it a separate panel?

If it is it's own panel, where are the fasteners? I've seen (and looked for) a lot of posts on panel removal but haven't found any post where this is specifically mentioned. And I sure don't want to ruin anything.

More project documentation to follow.........

The wood piece is screwed to the door panel from the back. You need to remove the whole door panel to get the wood trim off.
