Sorry if this question has been asked before.

The wood piece w/ memory seat buttons on my driver side door is loose and it's making annoying noises.

Is there a simple way to tighten it without removing the door panel?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt there's anyway to fix that w/o taking off the panel. I'd say just do it, it's not that hard and the more you do it the faster you get!

Thank you for the quick replies guys, I appreciate it.

Hey James, I have never done this before and I am afraid to screw up by misplacing the screws. Are you willing to come help me out sometime next week or so for a beer?

hahaha i love how everyone on theis forum does work for beer!! that just cracks me up. i guess i ask for too much cause i usually want pizza too. there are only 9 screws in the pannel. two under the arm rest, two by the hindge, one dehind the cover for the door handle, and three on the very bottom of the pannel. once you get them out, you will see that its very hard to get them mixed up.... 2 long ones( under arm rest) and the otheres are the same. well, the one under the cover on the handel may be different.

I wouldn't mind granting your wishes if you were here in CA.

Thanks for the tips!

You guys are way too kind.

Many thanks!

It's time to bust out my long forgotten flat head screw driver for some good use.

Hey buddy,

No, I have not gotten the problem fixed yet. I really wish I had the time to do it. I have been swamped with loads of craps at work and had to work throughout the Memorial Day weekend.

I'll try to give you a call hopefully by the end of this week though.

Thanks!

Jon
