I've been having a rattling in the passenger front door that the dealership has yet to be able to fix. I've been three times and each time, it is good for a day. On bumps and really cold days it is quite frequent. It is a rattle, just as if a screw was stripped and loose in its socket. I hope that the next visit will fix it, but I wonder if there is a defect somewhere in the door panel and that it just needs to be replaced.

that's exactly what i have. its loud when the weather is cold. look like its going to be a hard to fix rattle. i was going to take it off and see but i guess i'll leave it to the dealer when i bring it in. lets us know what you find out about it.

I won't be able to get back to the dealer for another three weeks. But once it is fixed, which I know it will be eventually, I will post about it.

I had to remove the front passenger door panel to replace the side mirror on a 2009 RX350 -

Hope this helps!

There are four screws to remove the door panel.

1. The rubber door stop on the inside of the door jam, visible.

2. One screw behind the plastic cover where you grab to open the door, it just snaps off.

3. In the armrest. This is where there is a piece of felt where you grab to pull the door shut. The felt is just snugly fit in to this opening, a small screwdriver to lift a corner and out it comes.

4. Underneath the power window/ mirror control in the armrest. With a plastic pry bar from the front of the control, lift up, this piece snaps into place.

The rest is held by plastic clips, after removing the screws pull from the bottom. Don't get too aggressive as there are several connections to the door panel. All the connections are plug and play nothing difficult at all.

Good Luck.

Hi guys, I tried this and no joy.

It looks like the back door panel is of 2 parts unlike the front which is all one.

Pulling on it from the bottom and pushing up only seems to push against the upper part which is not moving.

At Chrysler they referred to these as BSR issues (Buzz-Squeak-Rattle)

Unlike the front door, you'll need to remove the rear window trim to be able to remove the rear door panel.
