yeah but what im trying to say is.when i called the lexus dealer i asked for the 98 vvti part number.then i asked for the 97 non-vvti part number and they are the same 13201-46060.then the 92-96 have the same as well 13201-46040.what im trying to get to is not having to open up my motor just yet.you get me?

wats up im new to the lexus game thanks to edtuner lol i just trade the my civic and 4000 for a is300 the next day i got a carbon fiber hood intake and hks hi power exaust then got new tires only had them on the car for 2weeks and i got a passenger side rattle wen i go over a speed bump or any bump i dnt knw wat it is? i also have bad camber wear in the front should i get a camber kit or is there away to fix it wit out?and wen i take off slow or just drive slow the car will start poping but no check engine lite? and last my trac control wont turn off i even changed the button? sorry for all the questions just need some help thanks

I know it's very common to have the rattle over speed bumps. It's the brake pads. They slightly shift but it's not going to cause any problems. My brother's is300 does the same thing. It also happens when he goes in reverse, stops, and puts it in drive.
Get an alignment and they should check your bushings, tierods, etc before doing it. Is you suspension stock? And wheels too?

So i am going to do some maint work in prep for the NA-T. My question is i am going to be installing ARP head studs and TT headgasket do i need to deck my head before install or can i just remove and re-install ?
ok cl i used the search and found no recent thread.as many of you know i got stuck with the crappy SC 98 vvti.so im trying to plan out my 2010 year.and thinking of just boost the vvti i have.just swapping out the rods.and use the megasquirt.but i think my tranny is caca.to hold 500hp+.1.can i use my motor on boost w a tt auto tranny?2.do i just throw in a 2jzgte auto swap?
