Like Jerome said except the 2jz part lol. Does your fuel gauge work? And why does your water temp read so high?

 

I thought it was something electrical as well but im hearing things like it could be the fuel pump, ecu, "1j sucks" etc ..So i dont really know...and to answer your questions:

1. I was on my way to the gas station when this happened, then I turned around and went home

2. I changed the needles and they are not aligned right if you look at the mph , I just have not had time to take them off again to adjust

3. At this point im thnking of just selling the car and going to a 98-00 300/400or even a GS...stock! I must have bad luck having all these issues with the 1j...FML!!!

 

5-Speed coversion question I found a good deal on a W58 but its off a 93 MKiii 7M other than me needing to get the bellhousing can I use this W58 in my 92 SC ????

 

You said it's off a 93 MKIII 7M?? MKIII last year was 92...

If it's a 93 then it's a MKIV and then as you know the Trans and majority of the parts are interchangeable with no issue...

 

your right but the person told me that it was off an 7M so i guess mabey they gave me the wrong year but for sure it was off a MKIII

 

LOL people and there wrong info haha. Like wicked said that guy gave you the wrong info. MK3 ran from 86-92. The MK4 stated in 93. You cannot use a the MK3 tranny because it does NOT have the shifter extension you need for a straight bolt up. The SC300 and MK4 NA w58 will work for your application. The manual clutch pedal assembly is also kinda pricey new so look for a used one if you can.

 

Wait wait did you ever put gas in the car?lol It might be running on fumes. Messed up gauges doesn't help your situation either. Next thing could be the fuel pump ecu ,but since you swapped that motor you threw in the electrical mess up factor.

 

I havent seen any issue with the car I literaly test lighted every thing that has to do with it! So hopefully its the computer

 

Well I know it has nothing to do with the thread but I went out and bought the computer for my car and went to go to my car at around 10:30pm and my car was gone!!! I reported it stolen and did not get no response, I went to the junkyard today and I seen My SC, at first I did not want to believe it cause of the damage done to my car. I called the police and got my car back home. My front lip is stolen, interior door panels, my whole center console, sawed off my exhaust, and stole my Blitz exhaust, right rear light, Front left fender is done for. Im just tryin to look for someone to help me rebuild this car back.

My question is are the motors in the gauge cluster the same on a 1st Gen GS3 and a SC300 ??

Man, that sucks azz!! Man, I couldn't imagine what I would do if my car was stolen! First thing, I know that that Junkyard owner would have been in trouble with me because he must know how the car got there.

All the CL guys always talk about how I treat my car but when we work so hard to mod our cars to where we want it and a little azz thief just comes along and steals it, that sh@t just makes me cringe inside!!

That's exactly why if I can't see it, I'm not going in my SC!!!

Damn man that's really messed up. When I read that I got all paranoid because I left my car at my homeboys house and he had already got his integra stolen from there and his stock 350z wheels. I told them I have to go back to get it.

I just got it so it's safe and sound at home. That really sucks though. Where was it stolen from?

 

Yah...where was it taken from? i live in The Wood too Lucky you even got ti back at all! Rebuilding it from what you said was taken shouldn't be all that hard really....

If you want, I have a set of 92 tails I'll let go really cheap. There is a couple SCs at U Pull It right now, so you can get a center console as well.
