Just remember your taking a gamble with another used compressor even though the price is deterring. Replace your receiver dryer when you open up the system so it can collect any new moisture in the system. It would also be a good idea to replace all the a/c o rings there dirt cheap in price so why not. If he did it I would believe him cause I haven't swapped tops like that, but I understand now what your saying.

Here are the specs once you closed up the system.
Refrigerant Capacity 1.65 lbs.
Refrigerant Type R-134a
Total Refrigerant Oil Amount 4.8 oz.
Refrigerant Oil Type ND Oil 8 [1]

Good luck even though you might not need it the a/c the next 3 months lol.

[QUOTE=SHOLEXMAN;4995681]What year is the car? It might be a common ecu related issue that is why I ask. Do you have any check engine lights on? Your ignitors are first in line before the coils so those could be a problem. Just to clarify both coils? If so sounds like ECU. Get back to me on that.

I have a 93 SC400!

Check and see when the check engine light comes on. Turn the key to the on position not running and see if it lights up. If it doesn't the ecu has a bad circuit. 91-94 1uz ecu's have issues with the capacitors melting and stuff. Where are you in Fl cause I have a ecu that you can use to test it out.

Heater vsv(vacuum switch valve). I had to replace mine in my 97 because it was leaking. I've also seen people call it the heater control valve.

For the last 2 days my car will not rev past 1500 RPM when the car is turned on idle...when it reaches that point it drops back down and if I hold the gas it just sounds like it hesitates or stops for a second and the rpm falls down(sometimes the car will turn off when the needle goes down). After a few minutes the car will rev out again and if I start driving all of a sudden the RPM falls and I cannot accelorate, the car will jus hesitate...all while the car is still on! WTF!! I never had this issue and it just started out of no where!

I have a 1jz swap auto, not sure if that matters...anyone herd or experienced this before?? I dont know what to call it...

First off Jermaine, you might want to put some gas in your tank!

Second, your temp needle reading looks a little too high...

Third, just get yourself a 2J and it will solve all your issues!

We all know I'm no tech or mechanice but it seems like it's something electrical??

Good luck!!
