Correct. For 50+ years Bentley used exclusively the old 6.75L V8.
It was such a torque monster, so insane, that the redline was around 4700 RPM.
and so british it actually said 6 ¾ litre instead of 6.75 lol
clarkson's review of the brooklands in season series 11 of top gear is still one of my favs, that engine is a force of nature and completely shredded those back tires tyres
I don't like how they dropped the 6.75L V8 yet on the website they say the W12 is legendary. It's not--- not compared to what Bentley just threw out at least.
The 6.75 was with us a very long time but most people who buy even Bentley can't afford the car that it came in. Said car however is my ultimate luxury car pick where someone else will drive me. I've worked on 4 cars with it and the way it produces power is unlike anything else, very much a like a 6.7 diesel but with zero turbo delay and 1:1 response. Extremely easy to drive smoothly
The W12 was made for the owner to drive and to have extremely high top speed capability, to the tune of 200+ in 2004 type speed lol! It's also physically smaller etc etc and has the draw of being a 12 vs an 8, legendary is very fitting and it was directly responsible for Bentley not only coming back from near death but also being impressive on the world stage once more. All thanks to Audi

at the very end they went with 6.75

Have to admit, I never knew this engine was still used until. 2020.

Just think where Lexus could be right now if Toyota would have designed a new updated twelve cylinder to properly compete with MB, Audi and BMW

I just drove a GLB250 around for a few hours while my car was getting serviced. I must say, the 48v battery really made this thing feel punchy in all situations. It’s still too loud but it’s far from a penalty box imo.
I had PPF installed on my GS, but did the entire hood and fenders as to avoid a cut line across the middle of my hood and fenders. I’ll do this forever going forward.
My Tundra has it, but only half way up the hood and fenders and I can see the line a mile away. Hate that. I’d rather have no film.

Same, my sequoia is half and looks dumb. The Audis are full nose and need it otherwise they would get sandblasted at high speed
