Hahaha! Just imagine if you didn't have kids. Your username would be SWMaybach lol.

My brother has 3 young girls. It's great seeing them at Thanksgiving, Christmas etc but I don't have to deal with that full time.
One of my neighbors is letting their dog crap in my yard. I missed it one day and stepped in it. Didn't realize it until i got in my truck to drive to work.
So classless. My wife had taken them for haircuts and they were playing in a grassy parking lot area, I just can’t imagine walking my dog and not picking up his poop
The other weekend my son (age 8) had a friend over for a play date. My wife drove the friend home. Said friend vomited profusely in the third row of our Highlander. It has taken a few weeks to get it to smell semi-normal.
Side note - it takes more than a few hours for mac'n cheese to digest, apparently...

Good lord lol. Nothing like projectile mac n cheese vomit to ruin a 2019 Highlander interior.
JDR, I've wanted to ask you. Did you consider the Army Green color before you bought your Tunrda? Such an awesome color.
The 2024's have a really cool orange color that I really like too.
2024 Tundras have a polarizing look but I think they look great.

The reality of the situation is that when I bought my Tundra, they were exceptionally difficult to get. You couldn't be too picky. My request for the dealer was to find a light colored Platinum or 1794. Eventually they had a white 1794 coming in, so I secured it with a deposit before it came in. When it finally arrived, I went in, drove it, gave it a good inspection, and drove it home. No regrets. It has been a pleasure to own.
I won't lie, I'd love a new truck, but I just don't want to pay for it. If I were to buy now, it would either be a new Tundra or a new Sierra. I love both of those trucks, but my current Tundra has 13k miles on it, no issues, pulls our trailer with ease, and I love it. There's no valid justification to get rid of it. I'll enjoy my last V8 a bit longer....

I currently pay about $3200 a month in car payments. The Highlander is almost paid off, with the GS not far behind. Once those two are done, I'll just write a check to pay off the Tundra, then I'll have another $3200 a month to put toward retirement or our planned vacation home.
Side note - we don't drive a lot. The Tundra, however, sees the most miles per year. My wife's commute in the Highlander is 3 miles each way, 5 days a week. I head in to the office 2-3 times per week in the Tundra, at 9 miles each way. However, come the weekend, it's the Tundra, for its comfort and large passenger space, that we take to church, trips to the grandparents, on road trips, etc. I only drive the GS in nice weather and never the rain, which means living in Seattle it doesn't get driven much, though it's my favorite.
So the Highlander, at 4.5 years, has 17k miles on it. The Tundra, at 2.5 years, has 13k miles on it. The GS, at 3.5 years, has 4k on it.
