The #1 rule to avoid curbing wheels is to never forward into a parallel parking space.

Yep. I haven't curbed wheels in years. Helps that I rarely have to parallel park. But I learned the hard way.

I don't have any problems curbing my wheels, my problem is with peoples shopping carts at Wally World dinging and scratching up my car.

never say never I curbed my GS left and right but because I was distracted. Lol. I used to live in the city so I got really good with parallel. I remember people park so close so that sometimes you would have to push back and forth to make room to get out. Some cars can park for you too. I have not yet to let mine do once though.

No, the issue I had was not an error, it was just the way the tires were. Michelin made the sidewalls totally different in one size than they did in the other size. I returned them for that reason. The tires I’m replacing are the ones I put on when it was new to replace the run flats (the replacement for those returned ones).

Refinished wheels look great @Och , I have to get one of the wheels on the Pacifica done where my wife curbed it. That’s actually really unusual for her, she’s a really good driver.

Looks good... tires need some love too.

Air suspensions (when they work LOL) are supposed to prevent sagging and keep vehicles level by compressed air in the suspension itself.

Yes. That’s true. However, my 4Runner with the air suspension can be lowered and turned off in the low position to help with loading

I'm not sure what "laminated acoustic glass is. Gimmick or practical?

Nice, extra cab, rear sliding window, tow hooks, Alloy rims, sweet ride.
By any chance did you get a Sticker Price and see what they're running on this Bad Boy?

Double glass instead of one sheet. And no sticker. Was peeled off

Laminated glass really makes a difference. You can barely tell it's there even when you feel with your finger, I always assumed all soundproof glass would be W140 carbon copy...I was wrong.

In other car news, we actually used the tailgate today at the park at the lake (boat still not here). Pulled under a tree in the shade and sat there, enjoying ourselves. It is really, really stupid they axed it on the new one....what we were doing today with the tailgate is what you can't do in any similar SUV to my knowledge. My spouse who knows nothing about cars was like "this is so nice." You've got ML speakers above you and a regular cord outlet right there. The tailgate held both of us just fine, I remember wondering if there was a weight limit, but I figured it would be robust. Perfect for camping, if gas wasn't $5-$7 we would already be headed out west to Moab to do just that, and off road.
