I don't really know on mine cuz I never think to look at the info display on filling up.

On the Gen 2 RX330 I can only expect 12mpg in "stop and go traffic" when traffic lights every 1000 ft but I get 14.5 if I don't run the AC- yeah really makes that much difference.
My highway best is 26.5mpg with the wind at my back on holiday travel.

(Add- dear gosh, just thinking I should say I didn't post this to start an EV vs Gas conversation in any way, just letting everyone know cuz I don't need that drama today Pretty Please with sugar on top )

Gas prices will come down eventually. I don't think this is sustainable. I don't think this will stop road trips in the summer though...people taking advantage of light COVID spread to enjoy the summer (no more taking granted our freedoms).

What model is your x5? I get mid 20 on mixed and high 20s on freeway traveling on my 40i. This is Comfort without ***. This is a nice surprise for a vehicle like this imo.

Must be an M or 50i, because the 40i is rated at 21 city / 25 hwy / 23 combined, and BMW's eco-mode really does work.

Massively depends on the car, during trips the 430 gives 550, the 460 gives 625, and the Audi gives 640, around town they are all around 440-480.

Sequoia shows 270 around town and 385 during trips, Jeep shows 325 at all times since it gets 16.5 mpg no matter what you do. Truck gets 500ish on trips and 125-250 in town since I drive like an ***.

The Saturn doesn't have any good way to know but it claims 42 average on the window sticker. No idea if that is true or not. I expect it would go at least 400 since it has a 10 gallon tank before fuel light....I think.

That's all distance to fuel lights not running to fumes.

2012 50i, it was getting the 9-12mpg ever since it was new. When it was in my daughters possession in VA for a few years, I think she was getting 17-18, but NYC traffics result in very bad MPG.

The EPA rating is total nonsense, especially when it comes to high traffic areas like the NYC. When I had a 2013 Mazda 3, which was rated for 28 city/40 highway, i was getting around 20.

This is going to be bad. Full tank? About shade over 200-225 miles if it's just city driving.

LS is right around 400 miles per tank, same driving habits.

I don't drive our LS since most the runs are in town light to light slugging. With those driving days it will get about 11-13 miles per gallon and Shell V Power at $6.50+ I'm not willing. The Corolla does about 22-28 MPG around town. I don't track it accurately as I typically put a fixed $20 of gas in per station stop and I get about 70-82 miles between these 3.X gallon partial fills.

Steve, you must not have seen my post, #344 in this thread. Cancel them while you still can and get Michelins. On my daughter's car 4 year old Michelins did not have any dry rot, and on my X5 there is none on 3-4 year old Michelins.

I've had plenty of Pirelli tires over the years and have never had any issues with dry rot, and I drive so much they might last 1-1.5 years anyways.

I just wouldn't put them on the S class, but if they work for you, the price seems like a bargain.

The front PS4s for my wife's car came in today, rears are coming in tomm. I'm taking the car to the wheel shop in the morning, will have all four rims refinished while they are at it - she has curbed all of them really bad. Wonder how long she can keep them clean this time.

If they were good enough for my LS460s they're good enough for the S Class lol. Mercedes ships Pirellis as OEM too. About $200 cheaper than the Michelins, the price isn't the issue, its that I want soft riding quiet tires and the UHP Michelins have reputations for riding firm and being somewhat noisy, and the only Grand Touring option are the Primacy MXM4 I have which are expensive and not stellar.

My experience with tires has told me that there is no carte blanche "this brand is good, this brand is bad". All tire manufacturers have good tires and bad tires. These are the results from TireRack's test that swayed me:
