Its like that LS400 he had a while back...or that LS430 that other guy has now...just totally let go
Yeah, he's the one with the 250k LS with no maintenance we talked about? Yes.
The 600k LS430 if that's what you're talking about, it fulfilled its duty of being reliable half of the miles ago (I think 300k is a fair stopping point for a somewhat modern car) lol. I'll be watching every second of it.
There's a video of a 596k 2002 ES300. Less complexity for sure but still pretty impressive.
Not really less complex just less cylinders if we are talking about making it to insane mileage, it's an old school (but lovely) V6 with a timing belt. Change it every 120k and just enjoy, like an LS.

Its less complex for sure, way less to go wrong, cheaper suspension etc
Also pray for the paint on the Jag with that scrub brush in his hand. So far it looks like he may have only done the glass. What made him make the jump to the Jag?

Oh it's getting polished, it was so damn covered in quarry dust we couldn't see if there was paint failure or not. It was good and I'll post before/after correction photos. I'm sure we will burn though at least 6 clay bars with how much is stuck in the paint, we did make sure to clean the brush off though to minimize damage.
He has always wanted more power and a RWD car, this is going to be his fun car and a 400hp supercharged sub 5 sec 0-60 car is a good starting point lol!

My wife and I are going car driving tomorrow. We’re going to go drive a GLS, X7, Telluride and Aviator. Stopped by the dealer today (they’re closed) this is really what I want.
I won’t pay a markup. Somebody somewhere would sell me one without one lol

Looks so good.
What's it come down to for you and getting the one you want, you caring much about MPG?
Don’t care about MPG, it comes down to cost. $93,000 is way more than I ever anticipated spending on a family vehicle, and in order to justify that to myself I would have to buy my S560 out and keep it a while. My wife doesn’t really care about cars, so to spend that kind of money on something I would rarely drive anyways when she gets no enjoyment out of it is another issue.
Telluride is $52k, so $40k cheaper. X7 would be about $82k I like that too but it’s smaller inside than the GLS.
Another option is to buy the Pacifica out for like $24,000 and just keep that for a while.
