The all new G90 I like a lot. That one above is not the new one, thats the refresh prior gen.
Got the S Class back with $2,150 worth of brakes. Merry Christmas lol. They feel great...they ought to. Hopefully the ceramic pads will be much better with dust.
Had an Avalon rental with 8k miles, not a bad car. Rides nice, smooth powertrain, reasonably quiet (63 dB on the highway). Strange material choices inside though, some really nice padded stitched sections next to absolutely terrible hard plastic. I do miss a regular shifter:
Yeah I don't know what the hell Toyota/Lexus has been up to with materials choice and location. It's bizarre.
I also don't like the old gen G80 and G90, very small in person with minimal presence and not in the stealthy way I like. More like a trying to be seen and falling way....
So I saw a G90 for the first time. I saw the thread on the new one but barely remember how it looked. So when I saw it from the behind, I thought it was the new one. I was like what? Looks like an old Infinti. Just checked and noticed it's not the new one. Lol. Yet, only a year old. This is what they call flagship sedan? No wonder why it took this long for me to see one.
The Silver Arrow SL500 I want to buy will be ready for sale tomorrow. Assuming excellent condition I'm going to offer full price if they will skip dealer BS fees.
This might be the one!!! I've been looking off and on for years. I don't mean to sound shallow or arrogant but if I had that car I would truly "have it all" in my life, material wise. At least all the stuff I'm passionate about.

Not shallow at all.
If you were making payments for something you can't really afford just to impress people, that may be little shallow. lol

Paying cash, lol. I just plan to piddle around town with it. Agree with what you said, I want to drive a car that looks that nice and is pretty much a classic Mercedes but not "to impress people". If it grabs an enthusiast's attention I'll happily talk to them. I wouldn't want to make payments on a 20 year car lol, but I guess I would if I found the perfect one. Like I said I've been looking for years and this might be the one.
