I have to admit that I am both thrilled and overwhelmed with all the amazing technology that Mercedes has to offer. It's fascinating to imagine all the possibilities and capabilities that come with such advanced features. However, it can be overwhelming to learn everything at once. I am eager to gain more knowledge and become familiar with all the functions so that I can fully enjoy the experience. Being a tech enthusiast, I have to be careful not to run out of battery as I get carried away playing with all the features.

 

UltraLux22 - congrats on the EQS! while many are not fans of the looks or think there were luxury corners cut vs. the s-class, i think the eqs sedan and suv are amazing.

 

If I revealed what I paid, you might need a crane to lift your jaw off the ground. And trust me, I don't want to be responsible for any chiropractor visits you may need after that. Alright, since you are twisting my arm, I was actually planning on keeping it a secret. But since you're so insistent, I'll let you in on the juicy details. Don't tell anyone though, it's top secret!

I paid $17,934 for 2 years as a One-Pay. MSRP is $112,295, and I got it for much less @ $77,836, before those pesky taxes. That equals out to $747 a month for 24 months for a $112k MB. For context, in Jan. 2022, I paid $47k for a $56k special-order 2022 ES 350 Ultra Luxury that I ordered in August of 21, with a $701 monthly payment for 36 months, despite most dealers charging additional dealer markups (ADMs) at that time.

 

These cars are SO capable, we're a little over 6 months in and we discover new things it can do all the time. It is feature rich for sure! It is definitely overwhelming at first but you'll get the hang of all of it

 

Driving this car is an absolute delight. I find myself giggling like a schoolgirl every time I slide into the driver's seat. The sound system is so impressive, it's like having a private concert on wheels. And don't even get me started on the completely unnecessary (but totally awesome) features. The placement of the ambient lighting and the light show during startup is impressive. Using them is like discovering hidden treasures in a pirate's chest. This car is definitely more than just a mode of transportation, it's an experience.

 

Congratulations! I think it looks really cool in Black When you mention that we would be shocked at what you paid (without revealing), did you pay a lot for it or got the steal of the century? Inquiring minds want to know!

Yeah, I saw that. Again, congrats, the color looks really nice! I've only been in an EQS as a passenger, and I've met several EQS owers at charging stations while travelling. One of the owners mentioned to me that the tech was pretty awesome, but he also mentioned that it can be overwhelming
