Ive seen a few on the road here in San Francisco, and it looks better in person. One lady driving it was a grandma loading her stuff at costco. I was gonna approach her and ask what she thought but didn't. I assume she would be really overwhelmed lol
I’ll be honest, any new car for me has been overwhelming to learn when I first got them. There are so many features and menus for things that it’s hard to find certain things that you are looking for. I still think BMWs interface is really good and somewhat easy to learn but in the beginning when I first got my first one it was overwhelming.
I think it just comes down to time with the vehicle. I don’t have the time to go through every menu when I first get a car. For me I learn things over time as I spend more time with the car while I’m waiting for my kids at sports practice or my wife shopping. I’ve had a BMW for three years now and I know everything now. I’ve had my Tesla for 8 months and I am still learning things.
Have a family member looking at new cars and they looked at the EQS - they didn't care for the styling so they looked at the '22 S500 and S580. Sales person said the '23 S class will have 60 miles of range as a hybrid. Given how little this person drives each day, it would basically be like having a full blown EV and they might never go to the gas station until they take a road trip. I can't find any info online about this potential range in hybrid mode for the '23 S class. Anyone happen to know?

He's talking about the S-Class PHEV which isn't even sold in the U.S.
Thank you. That has to be the car - but the sales person told him this would be available on the 2023 model year and those would be available in the next "few months". That makes me assume it's coming to the US?
This is the 4th one I’ve seen. A white, a black, a grey and now this. I wonder why this one looked good to me today. Is it the color or it grew on me or something is different? Or it actually looks good in general? Lol
Funny, I think the EQS looks worst in light colors. That is a nice shot of it though.
I usually think this type of cars looks better in dark shades too. Not sure why this one gave me a good impression. I think he sensed I was looking at it so he showed off his 1s faster at the light. Lucky him because cops are usually around this corner.

Must be because when I saw the other ones, I wondered why some would be willing to pay that much for something like this. It actually looked better if I was a bit closer to give the side more length.
I actually think it looks best front quarter angle you posted.
I'm glad Mercedes will be continually updating this car instead of just at the facelift. More range for dual motor models and a heat pump are coming next year. It will get new batteries the year after.
Personally I don't think it looks that bad. Kinda of like an oversized Civic .
I agree. I think the EQE looks a lot better than the EQS in both sedan and SUV form. I think the design works better on the smaller cars.
Speaking of not cute though.... the Maybach EQS SUV was just released. I really dislike the exterior treatment, especially the front end and the grille but the inside is nice. They gave it front and rear seats straight out of the Maybach S-Class sedan
