The more I look at this the uglier it gets. The entire design is a master class on how to botch as many details as possible.

They could have done a much better job of integrating the parking sensors. The one on the side of the rear bumper cover really sticks out.

Also, the rest of the car is weird.

On the plus side if you've ever wanted a sedan with 10 side windows this is your lucky day.

I have a feeling this whole "eq" line will be disappointing in china, most chinese people want a german mercedes not a china mercedes, they want the good stuff from over seas not domestic wanna-bees. Disney marvel experienced a relaity check this year with shang-chi when they catered and i mean "catered" to the chinese audience with this movie in every way possible but the chinese hated it so much they won't even allow it to be shown in their country. Turns out they wanted spider man and not some wanna be jackie chan.

I really dislike the W221 shape but call me weird if you want but I really like the original Bengal 7 series and the M5 of that era.

Don't know why, it just looks very good to me.

interestingly enough, in Bjorns tests, it is efficient but not as efficient as Model 3 (new LR) or Model S (old Raven).

Another glowing review with no negative mention of its exterior styling.

doesn't look anything like that old civic except it's white and has 4 wheels.

No surprise the folks at "PC Mag" wouldnt comment on the styling lol. Tech folks will love this weird quirky car, the issue is adoption from mainstream consumers.

That Civic is the first thing I thought of when I saw the EQS for the first time.

I am never a fan of white. That EQS looks good in that pic. Looks smaller than I would have imagined.

Another very positive review.

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS450 Plus review: The future is here

The S-Class of EVs is a technological powerhouse and a true luxury car.

LIKE

  • Long range and fast charging
  • Phenomenal Hyperscreen infotainment
  • Serene and luxurious driving experience
  • Pricing undercuts the S-Class

DON'T LIKE

  • Blobby styling isn't for everyone 😃😃
  • Hatchback cuts in on rear headroom
