Now that you mention it, are Genesis and Lexus the only luxury brands to offer all the active safety and self-driving systems as standard in their vehicles? I was configuring an Audi A7 the other day and got quite a chuckle seeing that some passenger airbags were optional equipment.

Nice stuff. Living in the heart of a major and congested city, the Junction Crossing and Turning is a really welcome feature. So many times I could have been T-boned at intersections due to people not paying attention and running through stop signs or red lights.

Lexus used to do very well to sell the story and create the want to buy their cars. G80 videos and articles are a great way to set itself apart from the competition. The more you learn, and understand, you kind of grow to appreciate it and may want it more ( whether if you need it or not, that’s another conversation). Genesis is definitely trying to hit all senses in an advanced ASMR form.

Keep up the slow trickle of this info Genesis. You’re on to something !

Well this is different, the G80 reviewed by a Japanese journalist. Is there a single Hyundai product even sold in Japan?

There's hard subtitles in Korean that can be auto-translated to English and most of it is understandable. The guy sounds pretty impressed with the car, and I'm surprised to see that he even goes as far as to call Japanese car design language as "strange". Japanese comments section is all over the place. I guess Lexus is polarizing even among their fellow countrymen.

Looking forward to the electric version too.

Great video - the review does fall in line with others that it is an impressive car (liked how he was amazed at the comfortable ride on sport tires). I really am excited to see what the electric version of this car is and, honestly, what the next-gen G90 would be given the great progress I think they've made on this new G80.

The progress they push generation over generation is remarkable.

New steering wheel for the alleged "Sport" version. A much more traditional 3-spoke. Lots of people will probably prefer this over the funky shape of the standard wheel.

Nice! Hopefully the Sport package has a more aggressive bodykit as well. The current G80 Sport is still very attractive.

Man, that 119 inch wheelbase really gets emphasized here. Genesis should pitch this as Bruce Wayne's daily driver in the upcoming Batman movie. Black Panther already got the Lexus, and Iron Man has the Audi.

Agreed...the three-spoke should probably be standard.

I've never found a single SUV/Crossover that looks better than its sedan counterpart. But we all know which one the general public would rather buy.

I saw a dark grey G80 Sport yesterday, really good looking car, just wish it had the G90's interior or very similar design.
