The new one looks OK, the LCI will be better.
The car shows much better on video than on pics, look at the one I posted.
Besides the interior, tech, suspension, engines are all major improvements.
Pretty good showing on Bimmers part, its like the merc lineup, everyones got the same face, similar tech, and every tier buyer has something good to look forward too. For me personally, this is the same comment I had for the new lineup thus far, everything is evolutionary rather then revolutionary. Nothing stunning.
Usually BMW usually incorporates last gen high tier options as standard or less costly; I assume, that since they usually did Halogens std/HID/LED optional I assume HID will be standard and LEDs/lasers optional.
I dont know if this is the case with US spec cars, but apparently in some Euro 1st drives Comfort Access aka keyless go is an option....in 2019....WTF. #BMWUltimateWalletDrainingMachine
I am really interested in learning more about the suspension setup, it seems groundbreaking from the marketing material, a shock in a shock?

BMW seems to have taken serious notice of Kia Stinger. We officially have a Euro vs Korean dance in play. Competing in this sport segment has many buyers with fickle tastes and eagerness for the next hot thing to drive. It's not an easy market and I'm sure Lexus would rather focus on their gravy makers in SUV's and luxury niche cars, and keep the IS/RC series rolling.

You can do the Performance Center Delivery in South Carolina. I did this on my M3.....Obviously Euro Delivery is much better.
For me, saying ye my Bimmer is made in Mexico is just weird.....im sure 99% of buyers will not know or care though lol.
As an aside - our Legacy was made in Indiana and it is solid with great build quality. Currently have about 25k miles, no issues - not even a rattle.
As for the G20 design - I like it. Thanks for posting this.
Klaus Fröhlich wants the G20 to beat everything else
"[The G20] has to beat everybody in the segment in driving dynamics because all the Australian, UK and American journalists say, 'Ooh, the E46 CSL was the last real 3 Series.' I don't want to hear that ****** anymore," said Fröhlich, according to Motoring. The E46 generation M3 CSL was a limited-edition lightweight version of the M3, with more power and less soundproofing, among other changes.
Fröhlich underlined the improvements made to the G20 to make it more solid-feeling than the preceding F30, to improve the perceived quality both via materials and structure. The G20 utilizes BMW's new CLAR modular architecture, which Fröhlich says has numerous benefits thanks to increased stiffness. He compares the new 3 Series' comfort to a 5 Series, saying: "The cluster architecture is so, so stiff. For example, a 50 percent stiffness increase between front axle and bulkhead, 30 percent overall. You do not only feel it in driving, you feel it in ride comfort." The G20 is about 120 pounds lighter than its predecessor, despite growing in size. It has a lower center of gravity, the track is wider, and it has new passive dampers — dynamically, there are several key improvements over the F30.
Fröhlich also stated that the 3 Series is still a core BMW product, saying, "It is what the brand is standing for. [...] Commercially the 5 Series, I think, is a bigger contributor, but from the heart of the brand the 3 Series is still the most important car. It is the right mixture of having the character and having the volume." For Fröhlich, the 3 Series must stand as the halo car for BMW, instead of a limited-edition racing model. "You can have a super-sharp brand shaper, very race-equipped, but it will only sell some thousand units, it will not affect the brand."
