It's almost unarguable that anyone buying or not buying something because of what other people might think is asinine.

To argue otherwise is equally asinine.

My FIL swears by RAV4, has owned eight dating back to the nineties. My niece still drives his old '98, thinks it's so cool. She's 21 LOL.

I just wished they would give Lexus models cooler names.

LOL, it's true. Where's the "like" button when you need one?

Wife loves her RX350 to buzz around town or when driving by herself to see the kids in Savannah (400 miles). But if I suggested that me, her and the dog load up in the RX and drive out west she'd look at me like I was nuts. Once ya get used to family traveling in a minivan there an't no going back.

i like simple car identification. simple names, letters or numbers are ok with me. when the german brands go in for "a6 tsfi r sporting brake" or some such nonsense, that's all pretentiousness as far as i'm concerned. same with decades ago a chrysler "imperial" with "corinthian leather", hahaha

i've had rx, gs, and lc lexus models... the names and numbers were just fine with me.

Woah now Audi is the most simple naming system. Just two things "letter""number" engine badging is uh.....sometimes restrained.

I do think the Pacifica is about as good as a minivan can look. Doesn’t hurt me to be seen in it. Would I drive it as my primary vehicle? No. You would also be amazed by how many comments the Pacifica gets. I sure am amazed. I got the oil changed at a quick lube once and all the guys came over to look at it (true story!). Everybody who rides in it loves it, my wife has commented that now that she’s driving it showing houses clients comment on it and love it. It’s a cool
color and color combo…but I’m very surprised.
Your van?👀
