Welp,.I got the Hummer...next thing will be a sports car, either BMW IM3 or Porsche Cayman electric....😁
Are you joking? Lol
Cayman ev has been cancelled and ICE is being developed instead.
The M3 is coming soon - I would just get Model 3 performance as it’s faster, lighter and much cheaper.
sounds like a plan! of course nothing will change in 'years'.
Oh contrare'... you're not wrong.. However every car I ever say we will get, we get.... eventually. I said I wanted both the Benz and LX for years before I found and bought them lol, literally.
I love the first gen tundra but they do not survive the rust where I am, otherwise I would use one as my work truck.
Yeah, Toyota issued a recall for frame rust long ago. Mine has always been local, no salt no rust... but there's endless horror stories of northern trucks with frames literally disintegrated. On Tundra forums there's regular reports and pics of rusted and hack-patched frames from unaware buyers of used Gen1 Tundras. No pre-purchase inspection can result in disappointment when lifted for an oil change... oh ****!

It sucks too when you ask "is the frame okay" since what they hear is "is there a 1 foot section you can't put your hand though"
A single cab standard bed 4x4 GR engine version without rust would be what I want/would run til the end of time. That or maybe a 2UZ pre-VVT so I can ignore the timing belt till it shuts the car off....fluid film every fall to keep the rust away on whatever truck ends up being the winner and then I would never have to think about work car again.
If the truck was somehow all that AND manual trans then it would be a permanent member of the fleet for certain

Yep, removed it yesterday, will be headed to Miami tomorrow for an unlock. Haven’t decided on flash yet, possibly BM3 but leaning MHD+ at the moment. Stage 1 either way. Stock clutch isn’t strong enough for an Ethanol tune (which nets 700+ wheel easily), so that would be a whole other thing if I want to go that way.

Nice! When I had my M340 I shipped my ECU to Mission in CA and I was a little nervous doing that. It is nice how easy it is to take out the ECU in BMWs though, especially if I can do it.
