Yep.

So far the doctor hasn't been wrong. Realized I could start doing leg lifts last night. Things just come back randomly.

Oh I know, its hard. I'm a worrier too, and I tend to always find something to be anxious about. Honestly if your boat causes you stress, just get rid of it and get your LC. If you decide down the road you want another boat and your back is ready for it, you can always get another one. Its just money lol.

That's a good point of more stuff more things to worry about, I should sell my LS460 with that logic because it doesn't really do anything for me relative to the other cars.

In contrast yesterday I took one of the D4 W12s to work to get it some drive time as the weather was good, just thinking about going on a drive with it had my heart rate up. Every time I drive one of those cars it's thrilling/I have an amazing time experiencing them so I don't see any of the effort I need to put in as any issue at all.

My Dad had a 41 ft Hunter sailboat. When he retired and moved to Richmond from Annapolis he and I sailed it 3 days down to Deltaville, VA and had a great time, then he sold it. He didn't HAVE to sell it, but in Deltaville it was almost 2 hours away from him vs 10 minutes away in Annapolis and he knew he was never going to spend time with it and use it like he did and that it was going to stress him out.

Thats why I refuse to buy a third car. Because I KNOW that will bring me more stress than it will joy. I don't have anywhere to park it, and I'm going to stress over it being outside and getting dirty or I'm going to have to put my daily car outside and i'm going to do the same thing, so I just stick with 2 cars
I love having an extra vehicle(s). Sure it’s a waste of money until you need it.

I like to think, each one has a purpose

Its not about the money, its the mental load and worrying about it. If I had a third bay in the garage it would be a different story

I agree, the stuff I keep outside I'm not particularly concerned about. Stuff I do care about past making sure it works has to be inside/cared for a bit differently

Like on this upcoming weather if someone totals the Volvo it won't trouble me past having to find another one

I'm all over the place. Still enjoy driving the Cayenne GTS, but the mileage is getting up there. I've considered selling it or the wife's gle 43 to get a F Pace SVR. But I think I should have at least 1 vehicle that is somewhat fuel efficient.

Been feeling to also get back into a sedan, Genesis G80, S7 or a Volvo wagon.

Sometimes I'm thinking it makes no sense to have 2 SUVs and to sell 1 for a dedicated sports car like a 981 cayman.

Then other times I'm like, I'm done with being a car enthusiast and to just get a new Camry Hybrid or Crown Signia.

^^^ haha, the struggle is real and i feel your pain.

suv, sedan, or 2 door sports car. why not one of each? i’m done with sports cars though (don’t like to sit that low), and sedans no longer make any sense to me with cuvs/suvs being so much roomier or more practical. my friend’s tesla model s is a pretty cool sedan though and the rear hatch makes the back area pretty huge. but if the space isn’t provided vertically but horizontally instead, then the sedan becomes long. the model s is 10” longer than the model y for example.

I've mentioned before that I am seriously considering something cheaper to replace the S580 next time. Now that I'm not on the road selling like I used to be most days I just drive 9 miles to my office and drive 9 miles back, the S580 is a lot of money to spend on something for that use. When I was in my car all day every day it was easier to justify it. I did the math a while back and it costs like $4 a mile to drive the S Class lol, and thats even taking into account trips etc.

So what would I get? I liked that E350 loaner I had, a really high spec E450 would be like $97k and $500 a month less to lease. I could consider something like an X5 or GLE or Range Rover Sport...
