what will your next car be and when?
I’m keeping my ES 350 until I retire in 7 years. The new one is repulsive to me, so no interest in trading into a newer one. The wife will probably keep her X5 a couple more years and trade for a GX550 or a Land Cruiser. We need something that can handle an unimproved road or a forest service road..
Worse comes to worse, in most cases, can't you just open the hood and look?
You can usually (but not always) tell if it has a turbo, and how many cylinders there are, just by a couple of quick glances and the number of spark-plug wires and/or individual ignition coils on each cylinder.

I suspect that's a more common situation than you think. Turbos are often built into the exhaust manifold these days, and thus are not visible unless you take a bunch of stuff off and REALLY get in there. And even when they're not--my 15 year old 335d has two of 'em (one of them pretty large) and you can't see either until you remove the intake and airbox. Not something I'd want to do on dozens of cars while I'm shopping. Especially when the manufacturer can avoid that with a simple trunk badge.
Honestly, I am kinda leaning towards buying the Pacifica out and waiting another year. Buyout is $30k and right now similar vans are selling CPO for $36-37k. I would have to buy a warranty...have to look into what that would cost but it may make a lot of sense to just keep it one more year and see what kind of PHEVs come out.
Use the VIN lol! I just want them to include one good engine bay picture so I can tell via that quickly if they don't list the vin.
Current lease on Audi Q8 Etron ends in November. I see no suitable option for a replacement EV SUV at the moment. Perhaps if the Lucid Gravity leases continue to get more enticing AND after I research and confirm they fixed their lease return issues.
I'm sure you know this (being active on various forums) - you can still get a Mopar factory warranty online (via various dealers - Zeigler used to be very popular few years ago, when I considered a Ram 1500). Too bad the good ole' days of unlimited years/mileage are gone, but there are still some pretty reasonable options out there.
Yeah that unlimited warranty was awesome
LC500 convertible when we can find one, it'll be this year probably.
It's been a hellish 5 years with all these back problems and we have kind of a lot of rainy day money....
5 cars is insane but who cares, you only live once.
I want a fabulous convertible to just drive forever and across country, keep miles low on the Merc.
I honestly wonder which car I will like more when we're just doing car vs. car minus tech advances.

(yes I know I have no room to talk)
I do have the land to build on, though. So there are possibilities.
All I really care about would be the two convertibles in the garage. LX and LS and GMC are fine outside.
