Hey, folks, I'll be updating this thread at 9 PM Eastern / 6 PM Pacific with more info and pictures about the RAV4, so be on the lookout for that front-page link, which will really help the site if you click it.
I was actually supposed to be in Dallas with Toyota for the reveal, but sadly, I had a family emergency, so all I've gotten to see so far are the press photos and the press release.
You can expect all of your favorite journalists and YouTubers to be dropping content tonight as the embargo lifts.

Hope they get rid of that 4 cylinder tractor engine. I've had some rentals and these engines are so rough and course....my 2007 Accord 4 banger is so silky super smooth in comparison...feels like we're going backwards sometimes.
I agree it doesn't look bad...certainly better than the (IMO) butt-ugly 4Gen 2013-2018 versions. One of my neighbors has a 2016 of the generation, and she travels often, leaving me the key to it when she is gone, so it won't just sit there for a couple of months without being driven. Excellent drive-train like all Toyotas (runs like clockwork), but ugly-looking, and CHEAP interior materials. The cheap interior materials carried over into the 5Gen 2019-2025 version...we'll see how it looks with this latest version.

Doing some research on the RAV-4, I didn't know that Suzuki marketed a version of it strictly for the European market....the Suzuki Across. It is a plug-in-Hybrid.
