I thought it was going to be another new SUV instead of an update to an existing one. I’ve never driven a Rav4 before but people love them.

Toyota makes way too many SUV’s and crossovers though.

You gotta give the people what they want. Outside of the Camry and Corolla, not much else sells. The Crown models are limited supply models. Nobody wants an Avalon or anything smaller than the Corolla.

Great another CUV - the interior is copy paste of every other automaker….get rid of shifter, get rid of buttons, add more screens.

I’m sure it will be a hybrid with glorious CVT 👎

Its a Rav 4 guys, why should it be exciting? They sell a ton of them. There are more interesting options for us.

It may also have a BEV option (RAV4+) using the compromised and revised TNGA-K platform.

Toyota will release 3 more BEV by 2026. 2 SuVs (second being a 7 seater) and an Ute.

Just posted over in the EV Chat section, but Toyota just dropped a 2026 C-HR that's a BEV -- https://www.clublexus.com/articles/t...2026-as-an-ev/

yes. These were already announced for the Euro market back in March. Interesting to see the CHR+ for NA.

Massive nose and tall hoodline is just because that is what sells/looks good to people.
My MIL didn't want the 4th Gen RX because it had such a long nose.

I don’t think a long front overhang looks tough at all

RAV4 and the other vehicles from other brands are the replacements for sedans such as Camry and Ford Fusion etc etc. They are family vehicles. Makes no sense to buy a mid size sedan as the RAV is simply a better buy

Market disagrees from everything we are seeing trend wise. Most appear to picking these hilariously large, space wasting front ends vs functional ones or flat faced traditional RWD looks.

Let the younger gen and whoever else scoop up these trendy cars with those trendy front ends.

Personally, and in the words of Bob Ross, I'll keep my "Happy little" bum in my "Happy little" angular bodied, shorter front end car as I'm also not crazy about the new front grills either, nor do I like the L E X U S spelled out. But that's, of course, MY opinion
