General Car Conversation 2025 - Part 1
If we actually start having Winter again on the East Coast, I'll run Bridgestone Blizzaks and then a Summer Bridgestone Potenza tire again.

It's annoying at times on any sort of grooved pavement, doubly so because on good roads the loudest thing in my cars is the HVAC fan. The LS460 is the worst in terms of pavement type making them louder but I've noticed that's a weak point of LSs in general
A bit surprised by this.
1. I thought Hyundai would be higher with their EVs, pricing, number of models and all the refreshes to their line up.
2. BMW with their well reviewed EVs and imo overall a better vehicle line up than Mercedes, I also thought would be higher
Mazda is going to have a great year especially with the CX50 hybrid if they can make it known to the masses that the powertrain is exactly the same that's in a rav4 hybrid.

I never chuckle at other people's misfortunes. I pray for everyone and hope that all are safe
Anyone have experience with KO2s or KO3s? Pirellis on the Rivian are starting to get noisy and I'm exploring replacements. I've done some light and easy offroading in them but plan to do more technical trails in the future.
Friends of mine when I was a truck guy absolutely loved them, livable day to day and very competent off road. Very strong sidewalls that won't cut on rocks etc
I was honestly stunned, my car was totally ice free when outside and the second I entered the garage I saw my glass etc just flash over like that!
For me winter looks great, is fun, but damn do I dislike driving the cars in it. I'll post a pic of the state of the poor Jeep right now haha!

If it would snow, and then all of it would be gone the next day that would be great! We had 8 inches and schools were closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and delayed open Thursday. PG county (the county next to mine) actually ran out of salt...one 8 inch snowstorm and they're totally out of salt!

We just get so little snow anymore we don't have the infrastructure to deal with it. Imagine investing in snowplows and other clearing equipment and then it sits unused for 4 years...or maybe you need it every week all year...its hard to predict.
Thanks for the perspective! First time buying a set of A/T. I've replaced all of my OEM tires in the past with Michelins so I've got some learning to do with other brands and uses
Isn't ice that stuff in my freezer?
One of the reasons I live where I live, the weather. Not the beauty or ambiance, but it just doesn't get that cold. I think it's 48F right now as I type this, and that's cold to us
