a lot of people up down here, swear to be wary of southern northern cars as you never know if there’s flood rust damage. That’s real talk.

it was actually 'chilly' when i went out in my t-shirt and jeans, so i put on a jacket.
What you want is the M Sport Professional package which blacks out the grill (the thin white surround you see is actually an LED light that can be turned off):
way to go bmw for gouging more money out of people - ok that looks really good.

yeah i really like putting on coat, boots, hat, gloves, scarf, finding the snow brush / scraper, trekking snow/ice/sat/dirt into the house, taking all those layers off again, etc.
I have a client that has that same generation Santa Fe as his beater, he owns a bunch of rental properties and uses it to run around between them. Same story, tons of miles and has been great.
I'm splitting hairs here but the dark Navy blue on that 7 series looks better than the black.
Yeah that is the best color IMO. Both those cars I posted are carbon black, which is the dark blue only difference is the one with the chrome grill doesn’t have the M Sport Pro package.
pros and cons of living anywhere. My sister and brother live in Georgia and NC. The high heat and humidity can be unbearable, and my sister gets told to leave so many times because of hurricanes. . I also know a number of people exiting Florida as a vacation home destination as the rising cost of home and car insurance is just insane. It is what it is.
I did drive down to the lake shore and walked 7.5km today for exercise

the rust is probably because it came from up north.
I always liked that design

Someone lost a nice R129.... This is still just surreal. Glad casualties were at a minimum but these poor animals...
How can these people have no fire coverage???? What bank is going to loan 10 million dollars over 30 years for a Malibu mansion without that protection? Zero is my guess. So these people owned their homes free and clear and/or paid cash I assume??? Once my insurance agent screwed my car policy up and the loan company put me automatically in this god awful mandatory expensive insurance.... that was for a note worth 15 grand.

I saw this on X. I wonder what Porsche model this was?

I was listening to Joe Rogen. He had Quentin Tarantino on and apparently it’s $125,000 per year for fire insurance in the Hollywood Hills

i like the grill. the whole car, not so much (too ungainly and compromised huge because of gas/ev combo platform). although if someone gave me one, i'd enjoy it.

haha, yeah, sounds like it. side store: i met him at a neighbor today who needed a mesh wifi system because coverage was bad in the big house with a bunch of people. so i install that and charge her for the mesh kit and my time and this plumber was there. i needed something doing at my house (bidet kit install i wanted to try that i've had forever!), so he came over after we were both done at my neighbor's, did the job, and i said how much and he said $20. i chuckled and said no way and gave him $50. he still protested about taking it but i insisted and said don't sell yourself short, and if you don't need the money from clients, give it to someone who does.
anyway, yes i think he lives a simple life. he is 68 yrs old, trim build but said he does not eat healthy, loves bacon, fatty meat, etc. definitely all about the gene lottery!
nice to know i have a good plumber nearby!

hurricane evacuations in nc/ga? likely only right on the coast of nc except for freak one that hit more west in nc.
and neither my car insurance and property insurance is that bad. and i've never been asked to evacuate in 20 years. but live on the coast? sure. that's why i picked ocala.
i'm sure toronto property taxes and insurance are a bargain.
