you can have it shown on the other screen if you bring up the engine data from within MBUX, i agree not ideal and i'd much prefer it be shown in the regular gauge cluster but it can at least still be accessed
this is from the GLE450 but i'd imagine your version looks fairly similar
you actually get a boost gauge! even my AMG doesn't get a boost gauge
Yep very similar. I can put a boost gauge on the instrument cluster also!
Holy cow, $10k fine and license suspension???? What’s the point in stopping?
Hey with the X7 and BMW Supra I finally have an ACCURATE DTE fuel gauge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen a car dealership less driven to get a car back into a customers hands lol

@Toys4RJill We we’re talking about the roof rack mounts
My S580 is the first car I have ever had with no engine temp readout on the gauge cluster. Kinda weirds me out.
You may not have owned one, but many vehicles over the years did not have a formal coolant-temperature gauge....they used red or blue "idiot" lights for hot/cold temperature. In fact, my old 1965 Buick used a GREEN dash-light for cold temperature....that was before the days of regulated dash-markings.
Perhaps the cheapest and most insulting design of all was used on some early-1980s Ford and Chrysler products. Two underhood sensors were wired to a single red "ENGINE" light on the dash...which came on if the engine had EITHER overheated or lost oil pressure (perhaps both). You had to stop, shut the engine off, and find out yourself if it was a coolant or oil problem...or have the car towed to a repair shop. And these were the cars that Lido Iacocca was touting, in his slick TV ads of the time, were better than their Japanese competition, and Ford ads were touting as "Quality is Job 1" and "Have you Driven a Ford...Lately?"

Hilarious they had it for 3 days and it sounds exactly the same lol
you're very patient and understanding. what was their explanation after not fixing it after 3 days?

well done, but does it look ok that way?

i couldn't believe this... looked up a '24 driver display and it's there?

Hence why I said its the first car that I have had, nit the first car ever.

They thought they did fix it. They had to order a "Special lubricant" which did nothing.

Yeah its under the seat, you'd never notice.

Mine has an EQ meter in that location. no engine temp gauge. My S560 had a temp gauge there.
i see that now in the manual too, thanks.
they've got a lot of screen real estate in that display... they could have given you a temp gauge!
Its weird. The screen in my S560 was actually more configurable. I could choose what gauges were in each spot etc. This car has more layout options but no configurability within those options.

That absolutely HAD to be the result of whining. No more walking dumb customers through undoing their mistakes, just "keep pressing the arrow until you like how it looks".
