I found where another R129 lives but he has no garage… I’d be building one.
That 6 series looks really good in that picture and I'm usually not a fan.

Finding a low mileage clean E90 M3 is almost impossible. I thought the sedan looked better than the E92. He must have quite a collection.
My crazy *** friend who is the longest time friend in my life other than my brother bought a 2011 M3 recently. It’s low mileage and clean. I don’t know why every used car has curb rash on the right side wheels. It’s really not difficult to not hit curbs. Anyway, this friend started a very successful auto detailing product business and has a nice car collection. The M3 is the least interesting to me. I’m gonna go visit him and check out his whole collection soon.
I think most curb rash on right side happens when people pull into a space and straighten out the wheel. Bam.
the E65 still looks not good, especially the trunk line... it's also like the biggest pos of all time haha
not to mention it had to follow the E38 which is like one of the greatest looking sedans ever AND was driven by pierce brosnan as bond
I like the E65 7 series, but I think they watered it down too much for the 2006 refresh, especially the rear where they put those ugly tail light reflectors on the trunk lid. Look totally slapped on like they didn’t belong there.
Yeah I love the E38 too! And in the bond movie was
awesome! I was angered when Richard Hammond denounced it as the most “boring” bond car in the a top gear special reviewing bond cars.
My money is on drive-thrus. Some of them are pretty damn tight for some inexplicable reason.
Drive thrus are definitely a factor if the left side wheels also have curb rash. I do not go through drive thrus unless it's a rental and then, I also usually don't out of habit. I don't abuse rental cars but I don't take care of them like I do my own car either. When I worked for Dollar thirty years ago, we really didn't care if people ragged on the car a bit, but finding a virtual trash dump inside was unpleasant because if you are a management trainee, that lofty title means you have a lousy job training you to do a slightly better paying but still lousy job that you don't want AND you get to clean the car out while wearing a dress shirt and a tie. I still have one J. Garcia tie (give me a break, they were trending back then lol) that I kept for sentimental reasons and it has a permanent clockwise twist in it from being sucked into the business end of a shop vac hose. We didn't typically give a rat's *** if the outside was dirty, but it was not great when people trashed the interior and it happened frequently. I was amused when I checked in Geo Metros with white grease pencil on the windows indicating that the customer used the car at an autocross event. I always asked them about their lap times and they pretended to not know what I was talking about.

The Popeyes and Raising Canes nearest to my house both have ridiculously sharp turns through the drive-thrus. Always fun in the truck, but the tires are meaty enough I can just go over the curb if I need to without scraping the wheel
I'm pissed too, I curbed my LS430 chrome rim. It's only about an inch long scuff so no big deal, but they were literally 10/10 condition, not one blemish.
