Really? I certainly remember those being sold when I was a child and seeing them in new car magazines. Didn’t see a whole lot of them on the roads. They weren’t that popular.
There was a Kia version called the Amanti, it looked horrible, like a cross between a Lincoln town car and a Jaguar S type.
I would encourage you to go look at that, but I don’t think you’d have a place to park it…
Yeah, those chrome fender liners look absolutely horrible. The chrome wheels look OK not my favorite, but I’d keep them.
.
I don't have garage space for it bc it's too long. it would have to go in the driveway. If they'd take a lowball offer of like $8k who really cares, it's not a $100,000 purchase... I would DD this for the next 10 years happily. The chrome wheels are fine just bc the car is in such good shape. I LOVVVVE the chrome that adorns all W126 windows/trim.
I have never experienced a W126 before truly up close (I have tons of experience with W140 though), it will be interesting to look at and see how crazily well it's built. If it drives well and the A/C works etc. I may make an offer.
Proven, 500k+ mile Toyota and Lexus V8 engines seem to end up blown at 60k when they reach your hands lol...
Lost cam sensors
Rad blew up
Timing cover is leaking
ABS is still down a sensor
EVAP leak from line rusting through
Rusted to hell and back, front coil springs snapped from rust, I've posted picture of this truck on here before
This time the fuel pump is burning through fuses
I forgot the compressor seized as well From today, I have to find out why it is popping fuses. Likely a pump but it's a Toyota so it won't just tell me via a scan what is going on
I see this often enough it's not shocking. Same owner also has a 2013 S5, 2010 Passat VR6, and 2015 GX460, none have issues and are all over 100k miles except the GX at 40k. Take that how you will.....

My 570 has 142k and feels and drives like new, and I beat the hell out of it.
I honestly don't know. I interrogated them asking where it's parked, how often washed, care etc and he parks inside or on concrete pad and does follow book maintenance.
