Sometimes they upgrade to 48v, introduce regen braking, (fuel econ, and the fact their cutting edge supplementary system have such terrible power management on 12v), remove accessories, but power is still driven by the ice.

a true hybrid is either series or parallel.

wow, hadn't heard of hybrid only parking spots... how lame. guessing this was done in the past for prius virtue-signaling. still, with every camry now a hybrid, and so many other models now hybrids, i don't think that will last.
