They previewed what that looked liked with the landcruiser ev concept, which seems cuv based. However their software game as of now isnt where they can readily ask for 100k+. Arene thats running on the new Rav4 is their beta test to see what users want, and dont want. That data will ultimately set the stage to refine and develop in house their future ev software and compute hardware kit. The ev hardware side is happening much faster, and they can replicate all of Toyota offroad bits much quicker.

$53,990 Premium R2 (330 mi, 87.9kWh, 450hp, 537lb-ft, dual motor)

Americans love underwhelming Hondas but the rest of the world doesn’t. Honda zero cars and Acura RSX no one wanted canceled.

Incredible how much money these companies were blowing on EV development and still produced lackluster products.

honda’s ‘effort’ was ridiculously lame including skinning the chevy blazer to create their prologue, which is a nice vehicle outside, but has an awful interior.

honda has lost money because they made an extremely poor effort.

When you're car is an afterthought or a compliance vehicle, it shows zero effort, and nobody likes paying premiums for lackluster products

The upcoming Afeela is probably Honda's "best effort" EV, in partnership with Sony.

It looks really cool, but the problem is the price

yes, not cheap.... But the tech looks compelling. It's not going to threaten Tesla but it looks like a good alternative to Lucid etc.

The 100k sedan EV market is toast currently. People want cheaper EVs.The Afeela looks like a bar of soap and the Honda Zero things looked like dustbusters and a crossover acura rsx ev was absolutely dumb.

The smaller Rivian seems to have nailed things….
