That's still a great looking car. The styling will continue to age well.

Totally agree the Model S is a great design...

I do miss the chrome trim from the older ones personally.

what would be the point in that?

anyway, i really like the plaid because the wider tires and wheel fitment looks about perfect. but no, i won't get getting one.

My new favorite EV. Its a youtuber that took a model S plaid, remove the body and put a Honda Odyssey body on it. Almost a perfect fit lol. Build for anyone interested:

Also note that these stickers are printed as the vehicle is built, and can potentially have different values depending on the vehicle's configuration and what tires it is delivered with. My M3 recommends 32F/33R because it was delivered with Michelin PS4S. But otherwise identical cars delivered with Pirelli PZeros in the exact same sizes have stickers that recommend 32F/35R.

So if you wind up replacing your tires with something other than the ones it came with, it isn't necessarily a bad idea to do a little experimentation to see what "the right" pressure is for the new ones, which may vary slightly from what is on the door jamb.

I always do my own experimentation. I run my tires at 32 PSI when the sticker says 35.

Citing "changing market demand", Ford is cutting Lightning production by 50%. Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2023/12/11/f-15...s-in-half.html

That MT article I quoted keeps getting worse and worse.....

"The Lightning is one of the most significant vehicles ever...." "The perfect vehicle to introduce the masses to EV adoption.."

Except nobody is buying them. Whoopsie.

Thats not accurate. Less people are buying them than they thought, but they are buying them. Lightning sales are actually growing:

But despite this, EV sales continue to grow. Ford sold 20,365 F-150 Lightning trucks so far in 2023, up from 13,258 in 2022 for a 53 percent increase. EVs accounted for a little under 8 percent of all US vehicle sales in the third quarter of 2023, according to *** Automotive.
