Here’s most recent alignment specs before going out to Road atlanta last week.
Car felt really good.
For any track addicts who’s interested.
Biggest change was rear camber more neg and front camber less neg so they’re closer.

Few small cosmetic mods yesterday.
Changed out my white fender badges for the black ones. The white paint was yellowing..
Got the RR front emblem. The workmanship isn’t that great imo but not sure what to expect for $90.
The edges going from the front plane to the inner plane have variances.
The badge itself, at the top & bottom, doesn’t cover up some of the oem plastic mounting points.
Lastly, I thought it would screw back like the oem piece, but instead it has to be glued on. Can’t see how hard that would be to design it so I can be screwed back on. Now if I decide to revert back, I’ll have to dig out the old glue before the oem one will fit back flush.
That said, I really like the way it looks!

I live 5 minutes from that NTB store. I go there for all my alignment and tire work. They let me tell them what I want and then deliver it.

One of my best friend runs that ntb. Super solid dude.
3-4 other F cars goes there to get work done.
That’s where I install most of my mods for low low price of free since he and I usually do it ourselves. Did have to pay his mechanic to do the headers. Didn’t want to mess with that. Skeered...haha
I’ll hit you up if I’m over there working. Didn’t know you were so close.

Finally got my RR strut brace.
The construction & welds looks good but the powder coating leaves a bit more to be desired.
My own diy powder coating is better...
Fitment was perfect.
Looking forward to my next track day and see if I can notice a difference between my old bar vs the triangle.

Yeah I don’t run the cover. Easier to cool engine down between sessions.
Cosmetics be damned haha.
I don’t hardly drive in rain so not too worried about prolonged water exposure on electronics neither.

The covers are for noise abatement. Won't hurt a thing but your ears to run without it. I never run them at the track because they only retain heat when I'd prefer they didn't.

yeah I figured that thing was just cosmetic. Never thought about noise suppression. Either way, mine has been collecting dust in the garage for a year +.
I did read about you saying the hood vent should be on though.
That has been off for a year+ too. May try to put it back on to see if any difference.
My hand made carbon hood doesn’t have the holes where the oem push clips go for the vent liner, so a lil’ trickier. One day when I feel like drilling holes in the hood...
I will say the car has never tried to over heat, even last summer’s track days where it was in high 90’s.
Needles always dead center. Those coolers are legit !!

I wish the IS F came with a higher capacity oil cooler from the factory. It really needs it on hot days.

Hey Got my oil sample back few days ago.
Thought I’d share. Oil analyzers is affiliated with Amsoil.
This oil has been in my car since early last year. Probably 18-19 months old with about 15-18 track days.
Keep in mind I “lose” a lot of oil through the AOS at track so it’s like I’m constantly doing mini oil changes/ top off.
Two oil filters has been swapped out and recently a third one when I took the sample.
Everything seems decent except i always get a ding for silicates. The previous two oil samples were the same way.
Using a Wix oem equivalent filter and I change it often so I don’t think it’s due to poor filtration.
One of my air filter box’s tab at the bottom is broke off. Wonder if it’s creeping a bit of unfiltered air...
Gonna keep oil in car and test again at the end of year. Will see.
Amazing that the oil doesn’t degrade in viscosity.
Signature series just doesn’t sheer. Good stuff.

The high silicon and the 1 ppm titanium is disturbing. The valves are titanium, so there is a pretty good chance that Ti in the oil is valve stem wear.

Yeah I’ll address the silicates issue soon. Been a constant small issue but it’s never been terrible.
Didn’t think 1ppm Ti is high.
Sure it may be from the valves. Guess I’ll see what the next test says and see if it goes up.

None of my reports for either car have any titanium. Agreed 1 ppm isn't horrific, but when two other examples have zero over a combined 200k miles, it definitely isn't a feel good thing.

Farewell R888r. These gave like 15+ track days since mid 2018 so I got my money’s worth.
Inside wear a bit high due to me driving to the track and back with my car having high neg camber. Wish I had room for a trailer.
Put new Cup2s on other day. Hope they hold up better than the last set I had.
I shredded the last front Cups I had in 3 track days due to urethane control arm bushing flex.
Fixed that with Figs solid ones.
The Cups set up isn’t square because I already had 2 old 285 from before. New fronts are 275. Small stagger. Will see how the handling change. Hoping not much more understeer...
