Finally got the Rennen rims back after powder coating.
Decided to keep the bolts red for now.
Taking consensus on current bolt color choice (red) vs potentially black or natural Ti silver.

If you're loading from phone, I find that after you select upload, allow it time to show up on the screen, then hit post. Otherwise when I punch post too early, the pic doesn't appear

Boogie, The face is brushed titanium

Thanks theman. I’m pretty sure I’m keeping the red bolts.
First, I like it.
Second, I would want Ti hardware if I had to do it again, and that’s too much $ with the current mods I have in the works. A good deal is like $700+
Thirdly, having to hand torque 160 bolts again isn’t that appealing...

Thanks Lammyy !
I’m liking it. The red rims were just a bit too much.
Btw your build is to notch!

So i drained fluids in tranny, tvd pods, and differential today.
This will be the second time I’ve done it since I’ve owned the car.
Car has 20k miles on it currently.
First time fluids swapped was around 12k and the fluids looked “fair” with a good bit of metal shavings on the magnetic plugs.
Since then, the last 8k miles has had 14 track days so I wanted to see what the fluids looked like and whether there were more debris on the plugs.
Well...it was “wasted” effort & oil. All three’s (tranny-tvd-diff) fluids looked brand new. The magnetic plugs had almost nothing on them, unlike the first drain where there were decent amount of shavings-especially in the differential.
Guess I know now the fluid holds up well under tracking conditions and that I can go way longer in between drains.

Fluids:
The tranny & tvd pods were filled both times with Toyota WS.
The diff was filled with Redline 75w85 last time.
This time the diff was filled with Amsoil 75w90.

Hope this is helpful for y’all.
I recommend strongly for anyone who hasn’t drained the differential to do it soon to get out the initial break in metal debris. After that, street cars are probably good to go for a long time.
