Excited to see this installed! I have one coming as well! Any chance you'd be willing to post pics of the mounting locations and how it's bolted to the floor?

Also, that wing looks gorgeous! Beautiful build!

Thanks for the compliment.

Yeah man, I’ll try and document cage install as I go.
You get yours from RSR ?

Nv,
since you’re SRS light is already on. Don’t think it will go off once you put the resistors in.
Will have to install them, then go to Lexus to get them to remove dash light with Techstream.
A regular obd2 tool won’t clear SRS codes.

If you were closer I would help with the codes, sorry, but Ming is correct.

FYI, if you're curious on the resistors:
Rear Seats : .5 W / 1 Ohm
Front Seats : .5 W / 4.7 Ohm
Steering Wheel : .5 W / 3.9 Ohm

Not true.

DTC CLEAR (USING SST CHECK WIRE)

(a) Clear the DTCs.

(1) When the engine switch is turned off, the DTCs are cleared.

HINT: Depending on the DTC, the code may not be cleared by turning the engine switch off. In this case, proceed to the next step.

(2) Using SST, connect terminals TC (pin 13) and CG (pin 4) of the DLC3, and then turn the engine switch on (IG).

SST: 09843-18040

(3) Disconnect terminal TC of the DLC3 within 3 to 10 seconds after the DTCs are output, and check if the SRS warning light comes on after 3 seconds.

(4) Within 2 to 4 seconds after the SRS warning light comes on, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.

(5) The SRS warning light will go off within 2 to 4 seconds after connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3. Disconnect terminal TC within 2 to 4 seconds after the SRS warning light goes off.

(6) The SRS warning light will come on again within 2 to 4 seconds after disconnecting terminal TC. Reconnect terminals TC and CG within 2 to 4 seconds after the SRS warning light comes on.

(7) Check if the SRS warning light goes off within 2 to 4 seconds after connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3. Also check if the normal system code is output within 1 second after the SRS warning light goes off.

If DTCs are not cleared, repeat this procedure until the codes are cleared.

That's the procedure if you only have a shorting wire. The PITA is you have to connect and disconnect if you use a straight wire. If you get a SPST switch and connect two wires to it, you can plug it in and cycle it as described above and it gets really easy. The Supra has the same style of SRS DTC clearing process and we posted all kinds of "help" on the MkIV email list years ago to make this process easier. It really is all about a steady rhythm between on and off to reset the codes.

I built a switch with wires and connectors just for this purpose on my '93 Supra because it doesn't have a DLC - it's pre-OBDII, so Techstream is useless with it.

BTW, this is pretty universal across all Toyota products and has been for many years.

Why 1/2w? I would think a 1/4w would work just fine since the only time there is current is on actuation of the squib. If that happens the resistor will smoke no matter what, but that will be the smallest of your concerns. The thing that made the airbag decide it needed to deploy will likely have all your attention.

When doing the checking I watched voltage spike during ignition, expected and nothing wrong,.5w was just a safe number but .25 is minimum and will work just fine. Also .5w is what I have an abundance of haha and wont harm anything.
