While painting this 2 landscapers came to tidy up our neighbors yards. They used gas blowers and blew dust all over the place. It's amazing the paint turned out halfway decent.

Center stripe is the local shops paint...Better color match, fail! This local shop has gotten horrible. 15 years ago they did a fairly good job at matching. The last 3 times I've had to get a refund.

In-between the left side and the taped section is original paint. I purchased some paint locally in an attempt to get a better color match.

This is the original crashed door. I saved it to practice painting on. The left side I painted with a can of paint I purchased from ebay. I ended up using this to paint the car.

I used this small 12v battery and leads to test the motor. Reversing the polarity reverses the motor.

Once I forced the glovebox open I found these goodies. The previous owner spent over $2k in the last year on the tires. With replacement certificates. There was a nice snap on pocketknife inside too.

It is nearly perfect now. I could adjust it up a hair using the door hinge bolts. But I don't want it to stand out by looking better than the rest of the car :)

This door to quarter gap was pretty sad. There is some adjustment available by loosening the door striker screws. By myself it was impossible to make any progress. I decided to modify the door striker to make adjustments easier.
