I cut these 2 openings in the quarter to free the tail light and wire harness.

Getting this section of quarter off was challenging. The rear tail light is connected to the charge port door which in turn has a wire harness plugged into the charge port.

This top seam by the trunk didn't have good access. I wasn't able to use the seam buster effectively. I ended up drilling the weld's on this section.

The small weld joints are fairly easy to break with the seam buster. I didn't bother to drill these.

It's actually a 2 part mix. I've never seen something like this before.

After a week I tried again to tackle this window removal. I purchased a second glass removal kit from harbor freight. This kit had a braided cutting wire which was much stronger. My ebay kit came with some weak wire that would continually break.

I also discovered from outside the car I could feed a single wire between the bottom section of the window. Then while sitting in the car take that wire and force it back out the top section of the window. I then connected my handles to the wire.

I didn't even nick the rubber drain line. I usually slice right through stuff like that lol.

These are probably 3/16" in diameter. Pretty hefty.

By loosening them first with the vice grips they all fell right out.

This is the right side of the car ( no damage). I thought it was odd this side doesn't have the big rivets.

Note the big rivets along the bottom. I wonder if this has been repaired before.

I removed the lower trim to access the bottom section of the quarter panel. I currently have the trim still attached near the front tire. When I move the car I put one bolt in on the back to hold it up. Fully removing the trim from the front wheel area looked like I could be opening a can of worms.
