there are a few of us in GA that do projects on the side (myself included) but obviously if there is a specific time table that may be difficult. If you are looking for some reliable guys let me know. i have a very small circle of guys that i trust with my car when i can't do it myself.

I just did a swap (engine,turbo,tranny) with zen motors. It was the cleanest swap Ive ever seen and I showed a bunch people and they said the same thing. The car runs perfect and no issues at all. Dan is the only shop owner that has your back and will update you on your car, gives you options too. Everyone that works over there is cool and customer service is on a high level.I got nothing but respect for them and Im going there for future mods. There are the only honest shop in georgia period.

 

Zen Motors did my first swap and it was flawless!! They went far and beyond my expectations!!! Dan has always been straight up with me, never feed me any nonsense. They are the only shop that touches my cars.

 

Good luck. When you speak with him,(Dan) please ask him to call/email me about my V160, his shop damaged.

 

You haven't been around Zen much. Feel free to read up on the "other thread" Over 275 replies, pictures, and testimonies.
Zen Motors LLC=
kept my car for a year with little progress.
Torrey, destroyed my V160 transmission (it only needed syncros)
Lied to me many times (he will not answer to me)
Held my parts hostage, for more money.
double charged me for bad labor ( see V160)
Went joyriding in my wife's Supra, then blew it up. (my wife had to call about her car.)
She paid CASH for some parts that Dan didn't install, nor give paperwork for.
These are just some of the problems we have had with Zen Motors LLC.
Many CL members came forth, about Zen Motors LLC
We did nothing but give Dan Kang money, and help to get customers. What we got in return was substandard everything. And got stabbed in the wallet. I doubt Dan Kang will answer any of this, tho he has tried before, only to be proved wrong. Even Ex-employees, back all the facts, for the things that happened. If I'm lying, Dan Kang and Zen Motors LLC. could sue me. (no phone calls or letters from any of Zen Motors LLC's legal team.

 

B'cuz of the Review, Dan Kang has to step up and practice good business. If this Review was never publish i assure Dan Kang will continue on f@ckin clients over and over and over again when he can. I told gerrb the same thing. Thanks to gerrb for stepping up.

Are you serious ? I guess , you really have no idea about the number of people Dan / Zen Motors had screwed. You are just lucky , you were not one of them. Be thankful ! By the very fact that there are people he screwed and we are not talking of one , two , three , four or five people here... a good number of them, then that statement of yours is already false. You don't even have to go far looking for proof.... even ON THIS THREAD... he has been proven to be a freaking liar and a dishonest person and because of it the client paid the price. You might want to read the first 3 pages of this thread regarding the harness he boasted about and then tell me if what you just said "They are the only honest shop in Georgia period" is true. Nobody ever said that there are no satisfied customers. We are talking about dishonesty here that do damage to other people. And to have read that sentence you just wrote , I couldn't help but to jump in again on this thread since I knew a lot of victims. You have no idea how many others whose privacy I will respect , that have sent me PMs telling me that they too where screwed by Zen Motors. By the very fact that even his employees had attested to the fact that Dan had been dishonest to some clients , then there could always be a potential victim. Be happy , you were not one of them but you could have been one of them. Tell me , what would you have done , if you were one of these unfortunate victims of Dan / Zen Motors and you are screwed thousands of $$$$$. We all make mistakes and poor choices , but when these poor choices are clearly pointed out, attention is called, given the chance to set things right and one still refuses to acknowledge that he did wrong but instead blame others and refuses to make amends , that's something else... that is plain dishonesty and crookedness. And I will guarrantee you , it will be done again to somebody else .. and that somebody else maybe you next time without knowing it just like many of his victims were so nice, unsuspecting, trusted him and even defended him , just to find out at the end that they too are victims.

Sol, not only CL ... just today , I received another PM from another SF member saying he too was screwed by Zen Motors but refrained from saying anything on the review thread because there were already so many facts that proved Zen Motors to be a dishonest shop and thanked us for being brave enough to expose Dan / Zen Motors dishonesty.

 

CL could use a Shops and Parts review section. This would allow people to steer clear bad shops and parts. These shop members wouldn't be able to prowl the forums for customers.
Dan Kang has been banned from Supra Forums, for his dealings.

 

That is how he was able to solicit the business of Joe (the guy whose harness had been a hot topic on this thread) It was through this forum.
