TechStream Users
I know the list of people here is pretty small. But what is the latest operating system being used today. XP is gone. Win7 is gone. Win10 is still around. I may take a stab at getting a copy working again. Thanks.

Yes. I found a channel on UT called "Blue Moonshine" that has installation instructions for Win10, and Win11. Probably more. Just started searching. The author says you need Techstream Version 13. But the author says it makes no difference on which version after the model year of our vehicle. I have fought learning this process forever. But I am looking for a 2001-2005 GS430 and it most likely will become handy to have. Thank You Sir.

Also, does anyone have the Version to Chip of the J2534 interface? I know different versions work or don't work depending on the version of Techstream being used. Toyota probably does this on purpose to limit the aftermarket. Thanks.

Just FYI. I am looking for a used Laptop. It would be nice if I could find one with XP so i didn't have to do the whole "virtual" thing to get the 32 Bit functionality. I think every OPSYS after Vista is a 64 bit app. No Bueno. Without down grading.

Win7 is 32-bit. Win10 does offer 32-bit, you just have to look for it. Ebay might have old XP laptop. In fact, I just looked at EBay, many of them, some as low as 50 bucks.

I go by there every so often. It's about 52 miles N of me. I'm in San Diego. Nice place to live. It's not even like the rest of Cali because there are so many transients. Military is of course big here.They stay a few years and move on. That's why we can't keep a professional sports team in town. No loyalty. Everyone is from somewhere else. But I do appreciate you looking for me Sir. Truly. Now if you could just find me a decent GS430 between 1998 and 2000, I would be set! LOL.
