Arrow Keyless remote

My 97 sc300 has a remote key to it, I replaced the battery for it, but it still doesn't work. Is there a toggle in the car that can turn it on?

you may have to sync it back up with the car, I know on some of the other ones you have to do something with the radio.

Also make sure all the connections in the remote look alright.

yes there is a toggle under the steering wheel. has a picture of a door with a little key. it's by the hood and trunk poppers. the solder to the antenna inside of the key degrades over time.. might be a replacement key and isn't sync'd. you can tune to 94.9 fm and press the button on key and see if that helps.

O.L.T did an awesome write up on this. hope it helps

strange.. then theres a cutout outline there right? theres a chance the original buyer didnt buy the keyless remote option. could be a replacement lower dash pannel. the other thing I guess to check is to see if you have the keyless computer remove the rear seat, right quarter panel trim under passenger window theres a coumputer for keyless? you goanna have to ask O.L.T on this one.

make sure you read the entire thread.

I don;t think 97 has one, that is why i didn't say anything. I also have a 97 sc.

my 92 had that switch though, I thought you had to get keyless in every sc?

My 92 SC400 has the switch. It was standard equipment. I know because I am the original owner of the car.

same with me my 93 has a toggle switch. but if the dash was replaced they could have the wiring hidden behind it, usually because they were lazzy to put it back. like the guy who painted the door on the car i bought, forgot to wire the ligths back in.

i would look in the owners manual if you have it. call the dealer also see if they can help.
