Default Remote FOB Programming Instructions for 1996 SC300

I've tried 2 sets of instructions and 2 remotes nothing has worked.

Does anyone have a link to this?

How many keys has your SC had? The car will only allow 4 immobilizers to be programmed to it.

I dont know, I was only given one key and no remote

I had to buy the remote and am trying to program it

SC's never came with a separate lock/unlock remote. It's only one button on the side of the main key. You must've gotten one that didn't have that

This is just plain incorrect.

The earlier years had a key with the remote built in the side, the newer SCs had a key and key fob

okay you are right no sc300s had separate remotes, that is why I can't program it

Does anyone have any directions or tips for me?

I can't get my car into program mode to add this remote fob, I have the correct remote for my 1996, but that doesnt matter if I cant get the car to go into program mode.

ehh just remove the whole thing and get an aftermarket alarm. These things are outdated.
