first off sorry for the long post and if this is in the wrong section i apologize.

So first off this place is awsome filled with very helpfull people. Last night had to tow the car home (92 sc400) because started bogging and then looked under and saw a red hot glowing exhaust. Came here searched and found out it could be a bad ignition coil. Replaced this morning up and running great THANKS a TON!

So now on to my new question. I was pulling codes because my CEL came on along with the TRAC OFF light right next to it. I was able to pull the TRAC code it was 51 engine control system. So i have direction there but when it comes to the CEL when i try and pull codes the CEL light just stays on no blinking nothing just ON and my OD light is constantly flashing. Any ideas as to why this is happening and how i can pull the code to find the next issue to fix?

Oh i also pulled the efi fuse for ten seconds to reset the codes but they never went off next time i turned the car on both lights were on again.

Any help would be appreciated.

Your ecu is prob bad. I've fixed three since the heat set in, one 1uz and two 1jz

 

your engine control unit is on it's way out

Also how long can i drive the car like this?
