hi guys.. how many cats does a 1994 stock sc4 have?? i know for sure that there are 2 right behind the headers?? but there is a pipe underneath the shifter tunnel..

is this a 3rd cat or a resonator(no honeycomb)?? thank you...

^^^ negative.. there is only 2 cats.. 2 after the manis and 3 resonators...

 

It depends if your car is under California emissions or not. Thats what my manual says and shows 2 pictures of the cars. It may 2 or 3. JMO.

I pryed the 3rd open when i took it off the car, it has honey comb in it as well as Catalyst material

 

US spec has 3 cats 2 resonators and 2 mufflers, otherwise 2 cats, 3 res, 2 mufs.
